Presented by Chris Miano

Thursday, November 19th, 3:00 PM Eastern Time

During this Tech Trends Webinar, we will cover how you can use technology to:

  • Why real community stories earn the most donor trust and support in year-end appeals
  • Real numbers and research on why donors prefer impact reports to earn trust and why it helps them to give again and again
  • How to collect stories, photos, and video with consent built in, and how your team can do this easily before Giving Tuesday and before Year-End!
  • How to turn those stories into appeal letters, emails, and social posts, including in Canva
  • How to organize a story bank so you can find the right story in seconds

Collect the stories now to power your year-end fundraising and your impact reporting. This same story bank will fuel your donor thank-yous, your social media content calendar, and more, for the rest of the year.

Donors want to know your impact and how they are helping your org on a day-to-day basis, storytelling is the most effective way to earn their support.

About MemoryFox

MemoryFox helps nonprofits collect real stories straight from the people they serve. Supporters, clients, and volunteers can share photos, videos, and written testimonials through a simple link, with consent built in. Everything lands in a searchable content library, so teams can turn those stories into appeals, social posts, grant reports, and donor thank-yous in minutes. A Canva integration means the content is ready to design the moment it’s collected. Based in Buffalo, NY, MemoryFox supports 700 mission-driven organizations and has captured over 300,000 photos, videos, testimonials, and stories.

About the presenter:

Chris Miano is the Founder and CEO of MemoryFox. He was born and raised in Buffalo. He spent eight years in the Army traveling around the world and learning about the power of storytelling as a tool to connect with people across many cultures, generations, and socio-economic backgrounds. When he returned home from Afghanistan, Chris thought about his grandfather who was a WW2 veteran, and how cathartic it would have been to have him around to share stories with. This inspired Chris to create MemoryFox. The organization started as a way to capture the life story of his elder family members, and eventually grew to support mission-driven organizations. Chris has made it his mission to elevate the stories of real human beings. He believes that through storytelling with grassroots community-generated content, the world can become a more inclusive and equitable place for everyone.
